Howeve you do have to pay for the turf upfront, which you can easily get financed because it’s eco friendly project, and you have decades of mostly maintenance free yard!
To get the best out of your investment
You do have to do simple and easy care for you turf.

1) Care for post-installation of turf

You will see some sand on the surface, this is pretty normal at times.
Just use the brush to sweep the sand back into the turf blades.

2) You need some simple equipment.

Even though it’s basically maintenance free products, it does require some love and care to retain the brand new look.

You just need few tools which you would likely to have in you yard shed.
Rake, stiff brush, water hose, and a leaf blower.

3) Brush as needed

If you want to maintain the look of natural grass, you should brush fake sod as needed to keep the blades straight. Over time even the top quality turf bends down.
Brushing as needed will looking like fresh cut lawn. Using a 5 inch stiff bush will help you accomplish that. DO NOT USE A METAL BRUSH! it will damage the surface. High traffic are will require more brushing and some infill as needed. This will keep the blades upright in it s natural position.

4) Rinse it frequently

Rinsing the artificial turf will clean any debris and waste. You can use most mild detergents to clean dirty spots and hose them off. Some stains like Greece, motor oil, sunscreen and out her stain coursing materials can be cleaned using mineral spirits.

5) keep it smelling good.

Even though you turf will look great, but keeping it smelling good will take a little upkeep. If pet iron or any other spills cause the turf to smell bad than you should use house hold deodorizer and water hose to clean it.

6) keep the turf clean.

Just like any other outdoor surface, it’s your duty to keep it clean.
Leaf’s, debris, or any trash should be picked up by using a rake leaf blower, or a vacuum.

7) Care for turf as needed.

When you have kids and pets playing on your synthetic turf, you need to clean it more often. Kids, and pet accidents should be clean up right away. The same goes if someone spills food or drinks.
It’s recommended to tend to your turf every 2-3 months.
